Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ
How do I check my Nepal driving license print status?

Enter your unique license number (e.g., 01-01-00000000) in the search box above and tap Verify Now. The system instantly searches DOTM-published print lists and tells you if your smart card is printed and which office to collect it from.

What does "Printed & Ready" mean?

Your smart card has been printed and is available for collection at the specified DOTM office (e.g., Chabahil, Ekantakuna, Radhe Radhe, Thulobharyang, Banepa, Kawasoti). Bring a government-issued ID and your receipt.

What if my license number is not found?

Your card may not yet be printed or published in DOTM's list. Data is synced regularly from dotm.gov.np — check back in a few days.

Is this site official or affiliated with DOTM?

No. This is an independent, free public-service tool that aggregates publicly published DOTM print lists. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with the Government of Nepal or DOTM.

How often is the data updated?

The database syncs with DOTM's published print lists on a regular schedule. Newly published records typically appear within 24 hours of release.

Do I need to enter the hyphens in my license number?

No. Search is hyphen-insensitive — 01-01-00000000 and 010100000000 return the same result.

What documents do I need to collect my printed smart card?

Typically your original payment receipt and a government-issued photo ID (citizenship card or passport). Confirm with your DOTM office before traveling.

Is my license number stored or shared?

Search queries are logged anonymously to monitor usage and detect abuse. No personal contact info is collected. License records themselves are already published publicly by DOTM.
